Last year during our Chickasaw Annual meetup in 2019 I had the pleasure of meeting Nick. He was donating his time to help all the artists of SEASAM. After being able to talk with him for a bit, I got up the nerve to ask him if I could take photos for reference for creating some new artwork. It's always a hurdle for me to ask folks directly. Nick has a big heart and checked in on my Mom and I during the exhibition. He is a Father and plays Toli. For me, it's another example of how art can bring people together.
